Coverage for all professional services you perform as a Professional Counsellor, regardless of whom you contract with, under an annual policy. This policy automatically renews so you can get on with your business.
The following therapeutic modalities are approved and included in the quote on the right:
- Standard in-office counselling therapy services
- Remote Therapy and Telehealth including the use of telephone and online platforms for the delivery of counselling therapy services (coverage for Canadian clients and International clients)
- Equine therapy
- Dog therapy
- Walk therapy
- Expressive Arts therapy
- Somatic therapy
Option 1 ($200,00 revenues and under)
Annual Premiums:
$1M Professional Liability only = $150/year
$2M Professional Liability only = $195/year
$5M Professional Liability only = $250/year
or
$1M Professional Liability + $1M Commercial General Liability = $195/year
$2M Professional Liability + $2M Commercial General Liability = $235/year
$5M Professional Liability + $5M Commercial General Liability = $370/year
Option 2 ($200,00 to $300,000 revenues)
Annual Premiums:
$1M Professional Liability only = $195/year
$2M Professional Liability only = $255/year
$5M Professional Liability only = $325/year
or
$1M Professional Liability + $1M Commercial General Liability = $255/year
$2M Professional Liability + $2M Commercial General Liability = $305/year
$5M Professional Liability + $5M Commercial General Liability = $466/year
Option 3 ($300,00 to $500,000 revenues)
Annual Premiums:
$1M Professional Liability only = $225/year
$2M Professional Liability only = $295/year
$5M Professional Liability only = $375/year
or
$1M Professional Liability + $1M Commercial General Liability = $295/year
$2M Professional Liability + $2M Commercial General Liability = $355/year
$5M Professional Liability + $5M Commercial General Liability = $530/year
Coverage Includes These Benefits
- Unlimited retroactive date
- Legal defense expenses included within limit
- No requirement to provide designation
- Coverage for your professional negligence, even if you work for more than one clinic/employer or have your own business.
- Professional Liability – $250 Deductible
- Commercial General Liability – $250 Deductible
- Non-Owned Automobile, Contingent Employers Liability and Tenants Legal Liability (included within Commercial General Liability Limits)
- Your policy limit is your own, not shared amongst multiple policy holders
- Compensation of Court Attendance – $250/day, Max $10,000 Limit (combined Professional Liablility and Commercial General Liability coverage)
- (Optional) DAS Legal Expense Coverage available
- (Optional) Cyber and Privacy Breach
- If you need to cancel for any reason, up to 75% of your premium is returned (depending on cancellation date).
